About this painting:
"It was
started as a plein air piece, on location in central Italy. I was particularly
attracted to the early morning light, falling behind the rocks. I also wanted the
rocks to be the main focus with the shifting colors created by the rushing
water. I tried to get
down as much information as I could from nature, hoping to recreate the
freshness of the morning stream."
Celia Blanco is an American
artist who resides in Rome, Italy. Her medium of choice is watercolors which she
uses to paint a variety of subjects.
